Talking to someone about life’s challenges takes courage. I’m here to hold space for you!

Hello! My name is Jenna Reisch. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and mother of three. I am here to listen with an open heart, and an open mind. As you know, life is going to continue to throw challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of working alongside many teens and adults who have needed help finding the path back to a more fulfilling life.  I’m really looking forward to getting to know you so we can dive in and get you back to where you need to be…..your best self.

As I mentioned, I’m a mom of three, and yes, of course there are moments that are filled with joy, BUT, there is also a lot of chaos that comes with being a parent. Before you know it, the chaos becomes part of the daily routine, and you can very quickly begin to feel as though you are losing yourself along the way. Why does no one warn us about this before we have kids?! I really enjoy working with new moms, stressed moms, sad moms, anxious moms, and everything in between. I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone…even though it can feel that way at times. We’ll work on making some adjustments that will allow you to be more present with your kids, and that will allow you to feel more at peace.

In addition to being a therapist and a mom, I’m also a former Division I athlete. Those were such great years in my life that really taught me how to manage stress, expectations, workload, and pressures to strive for excellence. I understand the difficulty of balancing academics and extracurricular activities. I’m ready to hear about what’s holding you back from being your best self, and work on improving self-esteem, performance mindset, and coping skills. These skills easily carry over into practice, competition, the classroom, and at home. As a former school social worker, I have navigated the world of IEPs and 504s at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families to help build social-emotional skills.

In addition to these specialty areas, I’m very well-versed in empirically supported treatments for anxiety disorders and depression. These symptoms are present in so many areas of life, and it’s not uncommon to notice an increase in symptoms during times of increased stress and change.

Change in general can be so tough! From changes with family life, a new baby, careers, health, relationships, and others, I am here to help guide you through life’s ups and downs with a non-judgmental ear. Life isn’t always what we expect it to be, but you don’t have to navigate these obstacles alone.

I use a variety of evidence based curricula and interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness, to help get you back to enjoying life again.

I look forward to meeting you and working together!
